Fairytale Brides & Formal began when Judy Wright went shopping on the Sunshine Coast with her daughter for a wedding dress. They found this to be an extremely frustrating experience due to the fact that there was such a limited range of styles available with most being strapless.
They witnessed one bride-to-be being pushed into choosing a dress that was not what she asked for. She was told that it was "what all the brides are wearing" and that what she was looking for was not available.
Realising that there was a real shortage of variety and choice of bridal gowns available to girls, they decided to do something about it.
They now have a wide range of exquisite Wedding and Formal gowns crafted to the highest quality yet priced to suit almost any budget.
In 2008 the business changed hands to the Crichton family. Having three highly fashion conscious daughters the business is perfect for us. We are committed to providing the high quality and standard of gowns and service you have come to expect from Fairytale Brides and Formal.
