Fairytale Brides & Formal began when Judy Wright went shopping on the Sunshine Coast with her daughter for a wedding dress. We found this to be an extremely frustrating experience due to the fact that there was such a limited range of styles available with most being strapless.
We witnessed one bride-to-be being pushed into choosing a dress that was not what she asked for. She was told that it was "what all the brides are wearing" and that what she was looking for was not available.
Realising that there was a real shortage of variety and choice of bridal gowns available to girls, we decided to do something about it.
